    No, but seriously, +/- 5 minutes is what it is. After that, it varies a lot on context.

      Yeah, you go to the doctor, and when everyone shows up “right on time,” people later in the day get fucked by 30-40m. Show up early and be considerate of others, it’s not a hard concept. That or don’t make appointments you’re not going to keep. You’re not wasting your own time being on time to your own appointment that you made.

        That’s not at all how time works.

        If a doctor has 1 hour appointments, scheduled on the hour, and everyone is 5 minutes late, the schedule is now every hour on the :05.

        Your 9:00 arrives at 9:05 and runs to 10:05, but that’s fine because your 10:00 is 5 minutes late, so they’re now on time. It’s not cumulative at all.
