    Explanation: In the US Civil War, the secessionist Confederacy began hostilities by besieging Federal forces in Fort Sumter, and after several days, opening fire on the fort.

    Yet in order to play the victim after getting their slaver asses kicked, many Confederate apologists to this day call it “The War of Northern Aggression”.

    Shitwits.

      I’m originally from Mississippi. Most people who call it the war of Northern Aggression vehemently swear either the North fired first or that it’s completely unknown who shot first.

      History and much of education is taught with a different perspective in the there, within the scope of extreme conservatism and evangelical Christianity. Much of Mississippi’s history in the US was heavily embellished in my history courses and I know many who had similar experiences.
