Real talk, a lot of the tracks sound basically the same, and you spend so much time in the open world parts listening to songs where the lyrics are like three repeated lines. Then you don’t notice when it ends because it otherwise sounds exactly the same as the others, goof around for thirty minutes until you hear those lyrics again and go “oh this song again”
It’s not bad, per se, I just don’t understand why people think it’s such a noteworthy part of the game.
And yeah, some of the boss themes slap but then you shoot them in the face until they die and it’s over.🤷♂️
All that said, I’m also not a music guy so maybe I just don’t appreciate them properly.

I will agree a lot of them are the same track but a different rendition like how the Xion theme changes throughout the game
I think Everglow (the one from the trailer) is my favorite
