Binette@lemmy.mltoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•Me when people are cheering on Iran, a country that literally executes gay people22·1 month agoThe issue is that you’re acting as if the people who were always in favour of the Iranian government wouldn’t have cheered anyways, and that people just turned “pro iran” after they bombed Israel, when that is clearly not the case.
You are going to see people who are in favour of the Iranian government cheer on, but that doesn’t mean that they are people who weren’t in favour of the Iranian regime suddenly turned pro Iranian government.
Binette@lemmy.mltoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•Me when people are cheering on Iran, a country that literally executes gay people1·1 month agono we don’t. Israel goes after other countries if it wins, as they thing they should expand. Iran does not.

Binette@lemmy.mlto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you browse hexbear or have an account in hexbear?0·2 months agothat hexbear supports the entirety of russia. a lot of times i hear stuff like “they don’t actually care about queer people since they support russia”, which is a gross oversimplification of their views. they hate russia’s reactionary politics.
this misconception i think comes from the war in ukraine, in which if ukraine wins, they get to join nato. hexbear considers nato to be an imperialistic organisation that holds power towards a large portion of the world, and therefore, anything that opposes it should receive support, albeit critical.
It’s a VisionFive 2! It’s the cheapest one out there, and If I ever get a risc-V desktop when I get more money, I’ll just turn it into a router only.
I’m planning on runing debian on it, and using podman to run openwrt (only using CLI commands).
