I’m saying they could tell generalities to the AI, like “this is a dish we serve at a restaurant”, or give the description in an other language if it’s available. Not to give a full english description of the item. The only reason I can see for such an output would be a mistranslation coming from the title alone with no context whatsoever.

It’s probably caused by a mistranslation to begin with. The person “writing” this might not have the language skills to translate by themselves. Or as someone commented, that might have been done automatically by doordash.
Not at all. When you build your query, instead of asking the AI something like “give a description for chicken pops”, tell it “describe chicken pops, considering it’s food served in a restaurant.”. You can also feed it a photo of the thing and this kind of issue should be solved.
And also, check your thing before posting on your website. Still faster to fix the few error than doing everything by hand.
Or maybe give the AI enough context to do a good job and check the result before posting. AI can work fine, it’s the users who are stupid.
Love this band!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTu5TaLG2Hw would also fit. (Yes, the undead are definitely queer)

If there is enough deflation, that dollar could actually be worth billions in today’s dollars!
