One word: mortars.
Hugo Boss would like a word with you.
The thing with puppets is that once one of them wears out you just replace it with a new puppet.
US politics is just reality TV at this point and that’s why Donny is president: because the only thing he was ever really successful at in life was being a reality TV character.
I only glimpsed it on the news channels on the TVs at the gym yesterday. It’s interesting that it was originally hyped as a birthday parade for him, but all the clips on the news were labeling it as a parade to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the army. I guess the birthday parade shit didn’t poll well with anybody.
Also pretty hilarious that nobody really celebrates the 250th anniversary of anything.
Where did I say yellowjackets were bees?
They already like to have fun by attacking sailboats. Orcas are comrades!
Yellowjackets can sting the fuck out of you multiple times, too. I got stung by two of them last summer and then they somehow got inside my t-shirt and stung me a bunch more times before I made it inside and flung my shirt off. After waiting half an hour for the pain to subside, I picked up my t-shirt to put it back on and the two yellowjackets fell out of it, still alive. Fortunately they were as surprised as I was and I was able to stomp them before they stung me again.
Ooooooooh what a lucky man … he-ee was was was was
Stalin was a despot above all else. His particular brand of psychopathy long predates capitalism.
just let him keep breaking the law until it reaches the Supreme Court?
Also after it reaches the Supreme Court.
If I understand the communist/Marxist take on this, retaining any form of capitalism just allows the reproduction of these circumstances down the line.
It’s not even really theoretical. Lenin famously established the New Economic Policy (NEP) which basically allowed capitalism for farmers. As a result some farmers became quite wealthy and this gave them economic power over the communist party officials that were ostensibly overseeing them (Stalin during a tour in the mid-'20s often found his officials living in the houses of “kulaks”).
Stalin of course solved this problem by exterminating the entire class of wealthy peasants - and a whole lot of other people, too, not to mention almost all of the nation’s livestock. I guess the lesson here is that only rampant psychopathy can defeat capitalism, which is kind of depressing.
Biden and Garland should’ve put throttle down on a five-alarm-fire investigation into election.
For that matter, Obama should have conducted an investigation into the 2016 election when he still had the power to do so.
In the 2000 election cycle, electronic voting machines manufactured by Diebold used Microsoft Access as the underlying database for storing vote counts. Only techie oldheads will remember this, but in the world of electronic data storage Access was basically a toy. Access databases did have an audit table (which tracks every change made to the data), but the audit table was hand-editable.
Not to judge, but that “crowd” looks a bit, uh, frumpy.
