Sometimes it’s free to make you lock into their ecosystem.
Once you have an account with them, there is less of a barrier to solve a problem you have by purchasing their service, especially when you feel like you got a lot of value for free from that company.

Why is it talked about so onesidedly when it is actually multi-facetted? The blog to me reads like: “there are legal reasons against AI and there are fanatic reasons against AI, so we yive you the option to disable it (but actually it’s totally great as we all know and agree).”
I wish they’d addressed it in a more nuanced way or not at all. Just saying “It is now a config” would have been enough, but they went out of their way to point out only the subset of the arguments that can be easily dismissed.
Guess they have a product to sell that rides on the succsess of AI coding.

I think they mean making ALL corners not round. Or at least thats what I use klassy for.

Kubuntu is ok for a new person on linux?

I want to install apps/programms via flatpak, since this looks more easily for a newbie as me and because of the sandbox, which seems is good (?).
you can do that on any distro. Should be easy to install.
Other question I have, is about some apps i want to install if i dont find it or just find it on github or something similar. I find an app that really like but this app dont appear in any store, and this app is only available on github via flatpak and .deb . In this case, since the app is not available on flathub or diskover, or via command lines
Thats why after 3years of debian/kubuntu I switched to arch. But that doesn’t mean anything. Just do kubuntu for now and if you have troube installing something ask the community and they will help you get it installed.
And, btw, if you can give me some tips and advice as linux/kubuntu newbie, it would be amazing for my journey.
