You can buy more ‘favorite game’ showcases (with the Steam ‘points’ you get when you buy games, not actual money), so if you wanted, you could have them all.

View your profile, then click ‘Edit My Profile’. Click down to the ‘Featured Showcase’ item on the left nav, choose ‘Favorite Game’ from the dropdown, choose the game you want, and click Save. Voila!
Why not a dedicated showcase on your Steam profile? Arguably even more prestigious, since they’re limited in quantity.
Anything that provides a service rather than sells a product. This would likely take the form of an app or website that people subscribe to or purchase, but could also be services like copy or video editing, voice work or the like.
Presumably the “2 users per month” are you when you posted that, and me when I clicked your link, so that community seems pretty dead. I think cross-posting to multiple relevant communities is the only real way to get any traction on Lemmy, unfortunately. It at least draws attention to the more specialized communities from people who were browsing the general ones. I know I’ve subscribed to many communities that I discovered through crossposts… wouldn’t otherwise have known they existed.

This community gets 2.23k users per week, whereas you posted it to one that gets 2 users per month; I don’t know what you were expecting.
It’s not that the effect can’t be good when properly researched and regulated. It’s that I’ve simply got no respect nor sympathy for anyone who would find trophy hunting to be a fun activity worth paying for. Fuck 'em. If they cared about conservation, they could donate money to that effort. They want to kill animals for sport, that’s their primary motivation.
The fact it seems outrageous is purely due to how completely fucked up everything has become for the working class over the past few decades.

I made three comments on the internet. If you think that much energy is going to make a difference anywhere, I’ve got some unfortunate news for you.
Regardless, the point I’m trying to make is, it’s really easy to sit here and post about how Americans need to step up and solve the problem, just like it’s easy for us to say “We need to take action!” - what’s hard is knowing how to effectively take that action, or how to organize a country behind a common course. I sure don’t know how to do those things, and I suspect almost everyone else is in the same situation. We need a leader to step up and show us how.
Point is, if you aren’t going to be that person, you have nothing to offer, and your derogatory internet tough guy posting isn’t in any way productive. Why don’t you put that effort into fighting your own far-right political groups, instead?
