As a born-and-raised Texan, I don’t just want out of this state, I want out of this country. However, due to the circumstances of my birth (white, well-off, but not well-off enough to afford college or any kind of trade school) I’m basically fucked.

I was thinking about that the other day. What has to happen for another entity to invade and put a stop to this? Who’s most likely to do so…and win? Will we be happy with whomever is installed as leader?

They just want us dead. That’s the only explanation. They want everyone dead and to pick up the pieces after we’re all gone so they can make their perfect, fascist world.

For so many, everything is black and white. They don’t understand that when we want better public transport we aren’t saying to get rid of the roads. We’re just saying that if people have more options maybe those roads won’t constantly be under construction, traffic won’t be as bad, and maybe the roads won’t have to be as big so we can build more cool stuff instead.

But it shouldn’t be, and that’s an issue. It doesn’t matter what color someone is, who they fuck, or what God they follow. It doesn’t matter if they’re disabled physically or mentally. Everyone deserves exactly what they need to be on a level playing field with everyone else. Everyone deserves safety, security, and everything they need to survive. Right now, PEOPLE are struggling. Yes, because others choose to degrade them for whatever reason, and we should focus on that, not what they’re being degraded for. Focus on the bullies, not the kind of people they punch. Tolerance of intolerance breeds intolerance.
