Israel: “That’s a threat! They want to destroy us! Did you see what they said to us, U.S.?!”

USA: “Yep, clear as day antisemitism and a threat of terrorism. It might even be a war crime!”

Come on, no one is this dumb. The senators knew they’d do this from the moment they voted to confirm. This is just premeditated political backtracking to fix as much damage as they can now that they’ve received their reciprocal favors.

I’m 90% sure that when they said “you yourself”, they actually were referring to Newsom, not to the commenter. I can see how the comment could be taken either way though.
