We are capable of adapting quickly and making huge impact, covid showed us that’s it’s just an unwillingness on the part of the ruling class. Kill the industries, pay the people via social safety nets, federal jobs program to build better stuff, public projects, public ownership. Public money made most things but the people in power transferred all that tech and IP into private hands.
