Boy have I got some news to share about what goes on during wars!

Having seen systems go offline as soon as tbe enemy fires a reverse polarity plot based weapon, I’m not sure those second backups are helping

A plot device added to give the player somewhere to conquer / liberate.

A hidden empire that rivals the empire and republic, ruled by a powerful force user and with access to advanced technology.

The big ones I called…

When facebook first took off, I said “they’re going to normalise ending privacy with this aren’t they?”

When I saw the images of the planes hitting the twin towers I said “well, ****, there goes our civil liberties”

Sometimes I sound like a conspiracy theorist, I promise I’m really not!

I didn’t feel it played too different to the originals, much of the filler was fun and the fee is optional, so I loved the game.

I’ve never looked into mods for the first two, except the restoration project, so have no opinion on that point!

That was really a bad move, in hindsight.

Painted themselves into so many corners they’ve never gotten back out of.

Nah, it’s been passed off by the Studio to smaller maintenance company, who are doing some nice stuff with it.

New stories keep getting added, though perhaps they’re not of the same quality as the originals!

SWTOR is KOTOR3 for me.

Similar story telling, setting, dialogue, choices, morals and powers.

Only they added multiplayer and a cosmetics shop.

Oddly it’s probably become less KOTOR over time, compared to how it was at launch.

I have no subscription services.

When a service stops being useful I switch.

Aside from my steam library, I own everything I own. I don’t find this difficult. I’m not missing out, I enjoy films, TV, games, friends, work and life generally.

My personal choices have made a massive difference to my experiences, if I compare them to the ones I see people talking about on Lemmy.

Ibwas talking about the general link between suits and stock prices. Which I don’t think is especially relevant in this case for the reasons you’re talking about, and others

Might not be why you do it.

Certainly suits can and do effect stock prices, based on investors perception of future gains. Both the direct cost of losing a suit (if it’s big enough) and the indirect cost of losing business as a result, can cause this.

I really don’t see either of those scenarios happening here. The investors know there’s a monopoly situation and nothing will change until that changes
