41·4 days agoThere is no “too active”. Participate genuinely in discourse, and don’t be a spambot or clickbait poster. I think that’s really all anyone wants, regardless of if it’s Lemmy or another service.
As someone that’s been here a while, Lemmy a few years ago used to be a once-a-week thing because there wasn’t that much content. Now I have no problems using it multiple times a day and always see new stuff.
So, engage at the level you’d like to, and know that your engagement is driving others to consume and participate also.

For me, my favorites are:
RAH-66 Comanche for flying sim.
Wolfpack (from Brøderbund) for submarine sim. I believe it is also free on archive.org. (Added link: https://archive.org/details/msdos_WolfPack_1990)
Euro Truck Simulator 2 for trucking sim.
F1 2019 for racing sim. But it pretty much requires a wheel and pedals if you want to get really good, which does add to the cost.

Yep. I have all the map and special delivery DLCs too and it’s awesome.
I don’t get it why exactly, but it’s awesome just seeing the detail they put into the game. Getting all the photo locations is really hard!
And some of the achievements take a looooong time to get.

All peoples deserve to be free. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are enshrined in our greatest documents, yet we continue to oppose and oppress those actions and peoples, both within and outside our borders.
I enjoy pretty much every movie in some respects, but if you haven’t watched Deadly Prey (1987) you’re missing out.
It’s the worst story tropes of Rambo, The Room, and a 2AM cable access TV show and it’s somehow so utterly horrible that I couldn’t stop watching and laughing.
It definitely shouldn’t be rated higher. But it is almost must-watch for how bad it is. Easily one of the five worst movies I’ve ever seen.
If we’re not talking about horribly shot and scripted movies, then I’d have to say Passenger 57. Sure, it’s an overly simplistic 90s formulaic movie, but I liked it. Plus it’s got Elizabeth Hurley, Bruce Greenwood, and Tom Sizemore, as well as Ernie Lively (Blake’s dad), before they all went on to larger careers.
