I think you are severely overestimating the amount of money needed for a holiday, or your social cohort is quite far below the average income skewing your idea of what is rich, and how many people are “rich”.
Australians are pretty well paid overall and get 20 days of paid holidays a year. A quick Google says that 55% of Australians have a passport. Okay, travel from Australia is expensive, but people definitely do it every few years.
Survey from 2023 states:
The majority of Australians surveyed (85%) have been on holiday in the last five years
More than 90% of 18-27 year olds surveyed have been on holiday in the last five years.

How were you living before to become bankrupt?
Have they tried going back to before they were a crooked tax haven for unethical corporations?
1209 North Orange Street in Wilmington alone evades more tax than Ireland.
It’s lovely to throw stones, but you’re in the most delicate glasshouse of them all.
Partial agreement. I think that medication for mental illnesses is still essentially in the dark ages, and it’s partially because they were not allowed to use the plants for research to determine what about them was effective, correctly engineer them into a standardised type, and work on the therapies to work best with them.
The physical point I don’t agree with. In these instances, the effective plants have been researched and their mode of action has (generally) been determined. It is then possible to engineer them into higher and more consistent effectiveness in the human body, than the plants which essentially had an effect by random chance.
Many of them understand the evil they’re committing by supporting traitors like Trump, and they revel in it. They don’t give a shit about the US or any kind of morals, they just want to hurt brown people, or trans people, or women, etc.
Yeah but these people are also stupid, unable to recognize they are also causing their own suffering with this.
Live Carfree (from petrol) - 2.4
Petrol to hybrid - 0.52
Electric Car to Carfree - 1.15
Seems they left out a pretty large item in “switch from petrol to electric - 1.25”
I didn’t say anything about “turns”.
To become a high ranked member of the democratic party that is in consideration for the US Presidency, you have had to put in decades of political work and show loyalty to the party. You have had to work within the constraints of the party, even when you don’t 100% agree with them, and be considered as responsible by the public for bad decisions. Your career may have hit rocky patches because of choices the party made, despite them not being your personal beliefs.
To be Bernie Sanders was actually quite an easy political position, for the most part. He got to vote how he liked, did not have to sit under the party whip, and was only responsible for his own decisions. He did not have to do anything that was politically difficult, as he was never in power.
So my view on it is that there is just no reason why the democratic party should have gone along with him as their representative. If he wanted to have a chance at being the president, he needed to put in the political legwork, become a democrat, and have to go with the party whip sometimes, even if he didn’t personally believe in what he was voting for.
To have selected him would have meant that there was one less reason to be a democrat, as you could just be an opportunistic, populist independent.
Great, then mirror some of his policies. However were I a democratic politician, I simply would not reward a politician who has been outside the party structure for decades with endorsement for presidency. For me it would effectively be like skipping the queue.
As a non American I don’t see why the democratic party should have chosen a guy who deliberately chose to spend his entire career outside the democratic party.
America is a different universe lmao. Most people aren’t even married once in their late 20s in Denmark.
Lucky you. I think school bags in many countries, even developed ones are at an abuse level. When I was 12 my bag often weighed 10kg+, no lockers. I had hoped the situation had improved until I spoke to my 20 years younger cousin, it’s still the same shit. I believe it is probably a major contributing factor to scoliosis and kyphosis for children and teenagers, but still it persists
Yes, its pretty rare to see any keyboard without at least latin letters

Hugely disagree. Most people can’t build a tower which stands at all. In fact if they managed, I would say it’s much more “barely standing” than the engineer’s.
Both material factors and load factors are very well explained and grounded, they are not arbitrary. The problem is that they are too technical to explain to a non-engineer.
While the IKEA mattress is fine for you or me, I really don’t think this smart mattress is actually that expensive. I believe 5k and up is still relatively common for a high quality mattress.
When you annualise it over 10 years and between two people, if they’re getting better sleep than they would have otherwise, who are we to judge how they spend their money? It’s actually not that bad in terms of value. There are nights in the summer where I would gladly pay €200 to not be sweating into the sheets.
Obviously, relying on a company for an app to control your bed is the idiotic part. But the price itself is not outrageous for me.
I don’t agree on any of your points. You sound incredibly ignorant.
they made one prop dish and had to use it for multiple takes
