The ones I was with had voted early, and were out canvassing. The kids were under 18.

That said, a lot of people are sufficiently disconnected from the news that they didn’t get how much worse Trump would be this time.

He wasn’t going to stop with two. Had a list of ~70 people he wanted dead for either being Democrats or providing medical care to women. Thr guy’s plan didn’t involve getting away; just a lot more dead people.

They’re deployed in the hope of producing a massacre that can be blamed on the victims. I do not recommend counting on their leadership ordering a surrender

The movement is getting larger and louder each cycle. Protests like this dont bring down the government directly, but are demonstration that a movement has support

From what I could tell, only few were outside the US. This was largely Americans, in the US, objecting to Republicanism

Lots of kids joined their parents at the one I was at. These were by design peaceful events. Cops and haters did things at a few, but that was it

They’re trained and equipped in a way that you are not. I do not expect this to succeed unless you’ve already convinced them that they want to surrender.

The assassin also appears to have had use of a police car. Decent chance its a cop from another agency or jurisdiction.

Its not impossible, and situations like this tend to be ones where the facts aren’t certain until afterwards
