Sounds like it causes tonsillitis. Ive had tonsillitis twice, never had them removed, and it feels like getting stabbed in the throat every single time that you swallow. You dont realize how often you swallow until that happens

Wasn’t that the case for all the COVID strains before?

I’ve always had a very sore throat like nothing else before, and that was with vaccination. I don’t want to know how horrible this shit disease is without it

The couple of times I’ve had it, last year and I think the year before, it felt very similar to strep. Not like razor blades, but like my throat was so swollen, it was difficult and painful to swallow anything, including my own saliva. Biggest difference was that the Covid made me super tired, as well.

I know it was a common symptom of the Delta variant in late 21/22. That’s what I caught and it felt like I was gargling broken glass

The only time I’ve ever had a throat as sore as razor blades is with Strep. A. Glad to know there’s a new slicin’ and dicin’ vibe to the COVID strains!

Yup, possibly the worst pain I’ve been in was a severe strep case where every breath felt like someone was slicing my throat.

Oh. And I just had that 3 months ago. But I think it was actually tonsillitis, as nothing but the antibiotics were working. And yes, it does feel like razor blades.

There is even better evidence that there simply isn’t a god, and no, you don’t want to know.
