I would’ve thought the mirror borg would be completely benevolent and used the idea of willing and consensual assimilation as a means of helping species…like the combined knowledge of the genetic makeup from 17 species can help eradicate Alzheimer’s.
I think I read somewhere, that that was the start of the Borg and that they turned agressive as their humanity slowly eroded due to excessive cybernetics
Yeah I vaguely remember reading some beta canon stuff that a doctor somewhere tried curing his daughter’s terminal ailments/issues and it snowballed from there.
