Ubuntu was my first foray into Linux via Ubuntu server in school. I didn’t care for it and several years later realized it was because I just don’t like Gnome.

I feel like that’s simple enough and if we used it today, then at least some of the dumbasses would shut up about all the “White/Blue/All Lives Matter” BS.
I think the best way is to somehow keep it as simple as possible but also make it so glaringly obvious that to say that you’re opposed just comes off as outright stupid/evil. Though unfortunately I’m afraid that won’t stop most people today.
I remember thinking something similar when I was a kid modding Starcraft. Max levels/ranks in researching was 256 and I always wondered why such a weirdly specific number.

Is it purely the fact that they admitted there was an appointment?
I know several people that do this, but most often it’s parents with kids. That’s still not an excuse though as there deserve their own privacy. In all cases that I’ve seen though, it’s through Apple/iPhones. Now I’m not saying Android users can’t or don’t do this, but Apple makes it so easy, that it’s everywhere and I hate that.
