i worked in a restaurant and it’s all fun and games until you’re emptying the oil and the box slips and the oil goes all over the floor
Or you pour the (still hot) used oil into an empty plastic jug, it melts through and goes everywhere, and the manager dumps kitty litter (???) on it to soak it up.
Anyway, i know what burning kitty litter smells like!

What happens to the dirty oil? Is it just washed down the drain?
It will be funneled automatically to the gasoline tank of the closest Volvo
many places put it in a barrel that gets recycled into biodiesel

That’s awesome, just got a new fryer unit at my work and being able to actually see the heating elements is awesome. The old one was stained to hell.
