They’re really targeting California as a whole now. The state that supported the union so much over history. Republicans must really feel jealous that it is the richest state.

california needs to fucking secede and newsom needs to sack up and put the money where his mouth is.

You threaten to withhold federal taxes. Shit continues, You fucking do it. Once they know your threats are empty, the game is fucking over.

Can USians at least try to save their country without immediately calling for secession? It’s so strange that people want to leave the States and break it apart without first making an effort.

Balkanization would be good for the states. Well, it would be good for some of the states, and for the world as a whole; it would be really bad for the people of the future Mormon Theocracy or whatever

So when they turn to the camera guy at the end they repeatedly keep saying you’re not allowed to record due to FBI rights. That is something I’ve never heard before.

Unless they are trying to refer to something from the Patriot act the FBI has the same rights as everyone else.

Im really excited for the next election when the Dems force us to vote between Newsom and whatever mentally unstable nazi the republicans find, and we lose every branch again…

Yeah, our countrymen are dipshits, but let’s not undersell how complicit the Dems are by constantly choosing to run candidates that their voting base feels they have to vote for begrudgingly.

And let’s not pretend like the decision isn’t between unregulated capitalism, and fascism. Yes one is the better choice, but I mean Jesus Christ it’s like trying to decide if you want to die by injection in 10 years or being boiled alive today, you die either way.

Hard to win elections when your voting base can’t be excited about you. Hence why gop is winning, it’s easier for a fascist to appeal to a dipshit than it is for a capitalist to appeal to a voter with the ability to think for themselves.

Thanks for proving my point, too dense to understand it’s not about my “team”, it’s about making the decision that will cause the least harm.

The decision that would cause the least harm is not voting for democrats ever again, and forming a third party. You literally have them voting alongside actual fucking white supremacists, and this is your idea of “least harm”. THE PEOPLE WORKING WITH NAZIS ARE ALSO NAZIS, YOU TWATWAFFLE.

You’re either a nazi collaborator, like they are, or you’re a useful idiot.

Splitting a party in a FPTP system is the best way to ensure the opposing one keeps winning.

The choices are two: you either get a violent revolution started or you keep voting for the Dems. Anything else ranges from useless to deleterious.

Splitting the party? No, I mean creating a leftist party. I don’t want to split the Nazi-light liberal party, it’s filled with fascists and collaborators. let them continue to vote with actual fucking Nazis like the little brown shirts they are.

So an unelected figurehead of the federal government has come to my state, had a senator I voted for arrested over asking a question which is his civic duty to ask, and has now made threats at removal of my elected govenor as well as an elected mayor of one of the cities here.

At which point would these actions be considered tyrannical enough to provide a decent argument for a use of the 2nd amendment in court?

Newsom has been aggressively rounding up homeless people for months, and threatening cities who protect them.

Do not go thinking he is one of the good guys.

There’s a difference between thinking he’s “one of the good guys” and getting glad he’s one of the few people in power standing up to trump, or at least threatening to.

People like him certainly should be held accountable for their bullshit. But bringing it up everytime someone is greatful he’s standing up to fascists only helps the fascists.

He’s not “standing up to Trump” for the people, but to assert his exclusive control of the territory. Which is why he is not speaking against militarized assaults on protests, which Newsom also enjoys, but rather against Trump encroaching on the governor’s fiefdom.

In a fight between fascists, you are not required to take either side. Stop reflexively licking the boot.

Apart from the obvious “arresting a senator for asking questions” thing, is whatever’s happening on this picture standard procedure for arresting an unarmed, unthreatening person in the US? It looks like they’re arresting a terrorist or a dangerous suspect

Have you thought about the blue lives?!

I have. In their current state, they are at the bottom of the list of lives that I care about, with every other living organism on the planet above them. If they work to remove the corrupt, fascist, and clearly unregulated members and leadership from their ranks, then I will reevaluate, until then they can stay there.

    Maybe.
