There’s a lot involved with moving out of the US. The easiest route is Canada. But trying to move to Europe is a uphill battle unless you’re a skilled worker. Even worse in Asia, where unless you’re there with a suitcase of money, you’re probably going to be working from the ground floor.
Wife and two kids here, and I am looking for options but every where seems difficult.

Although to give you hope, I migrated with my dad when I was 9, but he was settled in the UK before I moved to join him, and it wasn’t too bad. You and your family may need to do something similar.

A decade ago, Australia rolled out where they have a right to check your phones and laptops. So company trips, it was always recommended to bring burners/reformatted devices. So that’s been my norm.
I’ve been doing that for years and would strongly recommend it.
