I’m not sure about the Illusion of Gaia temple you mention. The only temple I see late in the game is the Mountain Temple, which seems to be plant-themed rather than fire-themed.

Which is weird, because Mogh is the Lord of Blood, not the Lord of Fire. But his temple thing is literally covered in flames (but also sits in a swamp of blood).
Yeah bloodflame, it’s something to do with the formless mother. You lose eyes, have horns, and stare at the stars, you might get unsolicited contact from an interdimensional blood ocean. No I’m not joking, the lore is a wild time.
You get brainwashed by a demi-god child into becoming a pedophile protecting his egg baby…
But one must remember the background lore and worldbuilding was written by George R. R. Martin.
ADOM’s Tower of Eternal Flame will burn you and your equipment if you’re not adequately protected. It’s also harsh on certain characters that usually benefit from heat!
